This coffee comes from the Amazonas rainforest province of Rodríguez de Mendoza, a geographical area cataloged as "the capital of Ecological Coffee in Peru". It is produced by COOPARM, a cooperative that supports small specialty coffee farmers.
COOPARM has a commitment to organic farming practices and runs an extensive reforestation program, which consists of planting more than 100,000 trees each year.
